There is such a thing as not enough to do.
I have taken to riding my bike in exploration of new wonders around Normal Heights and beyond. Perhaps more time should be spent on finding new and exciting volunteering opportunities, unfortunately, doing work without being paid is wearing thin. As exciting as it seems to have 2+ months off real life, it gets me nowhere. I can't even get a driver's permit to start taking driver's ed classes. And an entire summer went by with me working my butt off and no money to show for it. My patience has dissipated into a thin veil that is showing the frustrations underneath. I am no longer waiting. I am tapping my foot. And my pen. And drumming my fingers on the table.
