It's raining again

Lazy Sunday.

Went for a swim this morning.

We went to a bazaar in the Fort around lunchtime. I love bazaars here, I love looking at all the different stuff there is. It's like going to a fair in the states, except usually in Manila, they are indoors.

I'm getting a lot of reading done. I've already gone through about seven books. Am also cleaning out my closet and my desk. It hasn't helped that since I left, my room has basically become another storage room. I haven't even finished my closet yet.

Next weekend we might borrow a friend's beach house and go down to Tali Beach. This is Tali Beach.

It is beautiful. The section on the far left where the rocks are is great for jumping off. Directly above that is the helipad for the Ayala beach house. No, seriously, it's amazing. Tali snorkeling is fun because they have an abundance of scorpion fish. They're usually small, and they hang out inside the barrel sponges. The last time we went there we counted 14 in one session. The neighbors just down the street have crazy turkeys, though. I'm not joking, those suckers are mean and scary! Good thing we have to go past their house to get to the beach.

I am in need of a serious nap. Oh look, the rain stopped.

It's been real.
